It started in 2000 when we saw Bryn at a concert in Washington DC and fell in love with his music.
A couple of years later, my wife - who's really keen on the internet - discovered the Terfeliaid fan club. It's mostly women, but they accept me! I do a lot of chauffeuring.
We've gone all over the USA seeing Bryn, to all four corners of the country, but in February we came over with a group of eight other fans from the USA to see Bryn perform in Cardiff. The new opera house there is fabulous; as good as any we've seen anywhere.
We've had the honour of meeting Bryn a couple of times. We had dinner with him and his family after the opera in Cardiff - it wasn't supposed to be with him, but he came in late and sat down with us. My wife was totally tongue-tied!
We fell in love with Wales. So when we had the opportunity to come to the Faenol, we came over again. We've been touring Wales for two weeks, listening to Bryn and loving every minute.
It's great to come to where Bryn's from - farms, animals, breathtaking views and the weather. We like rain! We also like the people. We've fallen in love with everything about Wales and we'll be here every year.
We like to see Bryn perform anyway. He is, in our estimation, superb in concert because he speaks to the people with song, and you can feel his heart. But now we understand where he comes from and where he gets his energy - family, friends - everyone here is so close. We feel that. He gets his batteries recharged from being here and it comes out in his performances.
The Faenol Festival is amazing - I heard you had Renee Fleming, one of our favourite people.
It's a wonderful event - it's hard to imagine this many people going to sit in the rain anywhere else. We have places around us where it's difficult to get to and from just like here, but when the talent is so good you'll put up with anything to enjoy it.
