Bryn Terfel said: "These afternoon performances in the Great Barn will provide our visitors with an additional opportunity to see some fantastic musical performances, but in a much more intimate environment that that of the main Festival stage.
"The aim is to offer a platform for talented young musicians and performers - both from Wales and further afield. In addition to delighting us with their talents, my hope is that they will enjoy the additional benefits of watching, speaking to and mixing with the guest performers that are already at the top of their game.
"This kind of opportunity was incredibly important for the development of my career, I want other young musicians to have the same opportunities that I had, and of course to give our audiences even more to enjoy during this wonderful musical weekend."
