SNOWDON RACE: Sunday, 19 July, 8pm, S4C
It's a 10-mile race, with competitors starting their challenging journey on the shores of Lake Padarn in the village of Llanberis and then running to the summit of Snowdon and back.

S4C's team of presenters for the Snowdon Race are Gareth Roberts, Morgan Jones, Nic Parry and Iwan Edgar. Morgan will be stationed at the summit.

"If it's good weather, there won't be anywhere better to be, but if it's bad weather, it won't be quite as good!" he says.

The programme will present highlights of the race from start to finish. Viewers will also get the chance to learn more about some of the runners taking part as we see them in training for the big day.

These include bakery owner Kurman Rashid from Blaenau Ffestiniog; Colin Pugh, who's a barber in Caernarfon; Bethan Dobson Jones, a member of the Eryri Harriers club, who's running the race for the first time, and Matthew Roberts, who lives in Tremadog.

Matthew was taken ill during the race last year due to the heat. He's going to have another go this year, and is hoping the weather is kinder to the runners.
