We usually go to the Puppet Theatre at Rhos on Sea. There is a puppet show and then some magic afterwards. Also icecreams during the interval.

Plas Newydd and Penrhyn castle both have fantastic adventure play areas. The cafe/restaurant at Plas Newydd is great too. The train exhibition at Penrhyn is very good if you have a Thomas fan!

We love the Welsh Slate Museum in LLanberis - lots of culture, live demos by craftsmen and crafts for the kids during most school holidays and it's all FREE. A great day out.

I love the Pili Palas on Anglesey. Butterflies, birds, creepy crawlies and nature trails outside. Because there is so much to see and do inside, it is a brilliant day out - never mind what the weather throws at you!
