I have been a frequent visitor to Conwy since 1979. I never tire of the place, the scenery is fantastic, the people are so friendly, sitting on the quayside of a summer evening with a glass of wine is heaven.

Not only does Conwy have a fantastic castle, within the walled town there are many specialised shops including women's designer wear, men's designer wear, wedding shops, specialised food and wine shops, toy shops and unusual gift shops. It is well worth the visit as there is so much to do.

As a YHA Volunteer Warden I came to Conwy YHA for a "Thank you" weekend in Feb 2005. It was my first visit to Conwy but it certainly won't be my last: I intend to return with my three daughters by train this Spring. I drove last time, but can't wait to step out of the train and see it again!

Plas Mawr in Conwy High Street is an absolute gem. It's like the Tardis, it's so unexpectedly big inside, and it's been beautifully restored. Don't miss this gorgeous Elizabethan house.

My first visit to Conwy was when I was nine..I fell in love with the place then. I went back today (after some years!) and hey, how I've missed it! Check out the Conwy Marina, The Beacons and the beaches (superb!), just a short walk from the town. Have a cool pint at the Liverpool Arms and watch the goings on at the quay. Visit the toll house at one end of Telford's bridge, it's how it was!! A fantastic day out....well done Conwy people.

Conwy is so beautiful, I was there summer of 2004 and fell in love with the town. I have to admit my favourite part was the shopping in the small shops and in the market place. I have the coolest purse and everywhere I go people ask me where I got it, and I tell them to visit Conwy!

My grandparents lived on a small farm in Conwy Valley called Cae Col. It is adjacent to the Gorse Hill caravan site. They sold eggs to the caravaners. I went on holidays there from 1956-70 and really loved the place. I returned recently to find the farm buildings derelict. At least the old walnut tree is still there. I recall shopping in the town - the Grocers was called Dunphys. I also remember the old station and the steam trains packed with holiday makers. In later years I was a probation officer and referred people to the Dr Garrett homes for holidays in summer.

Conwy is very nice indeed, the beaches are excellent. The castle is superb.
Some very nice walks radiate from the town and I can get some wonderful sightings of some of our most rare birds at the RSPB reserve. I like working there.
