William Joyce, who broadcast for Germany in WW2, as Lord Haw Haw, is rumoured to have learned his radio skills in the Bay. Lady Docker went to Penrhos. Ken Roache went to Rydal. Tommy Lawton was a rep for a factory here. A girl now in line for the throne of Roumania went to Penrhos, as did Lloyd George's daughter.
