The old courthouse in the heart of Caernarfon will no longer be the seat of justice when a new complex opens on the edge of town.

I think the court house should be turned into a nightclub and eating place during the day. This town needs more to keep young people off the streets and in an environment that is controlled and I think this would be perfect.

Keeping Caernarfon's history alive is very important to Aaron Evans and fellow members of Gwydion Heritage. I agree, this is a golden opportunity for the Old Courthouse to reflect the local history. What better place, so wonderful to be proud to turn a place of sorrow into a place of joy and pride. Where is the National Museum of Wales, lost in some warehouse? Make the Courthouse something the Romans and Welsh are proud to put a welcome mat back on its doorstep.
