Llangoed is a great place spent some time there when l had to go and live with an aunt of mine. That was upper LLangoed or LLangoed Church,But how the houses in Park Terrace have changed. in them days it was the oil lamp, had to go and fetch water from the pump in the park, and the Loo was at the back, had to go out of the front door and down the alley way. But they were happy times. Llangoed stay as you are as you are full of happy memories to me

This is my uncle's house and shop (Morley House) pic 7 which is the local Post Office in Llangoed, and has been in the Prichard family for many years. Philip Ford, from one of the posts, is my dad's brother's son, and I can remember them being keen on fishing too. I think they went fishing off Penmon Point.

Claire Kershaw from Plas Bodfa, Llangoed
As the current owner of this wonderful estate, I am fascinated to learn more about its history. I would be really grateful if anyone who has any information on the history of Plas Bodfa or any photographs of it in the past would share their information with me. Thank you.

This picture (7) I`m sure is of Morley Stores in Llangoed. I believe the Prichard family still run it. My late mother was from Llangoed and we spent a many Easter & summer staying at Nain's (Grandma). I believe my parents were married in one of the chapels in the village. Many a happy time was spent at Penmon & Black Point. Dad used to love fishing for mackerel off the beach & when they came in he`d catch maybe anything up to 200. Dad would then gut some there & then & Mam would have to fry them for him! Nobody else liked them, so the rest were taken home & stored in Nain`s freezer until we were coming home to Exeter!
Happy days! My heart is still in Sir Fon & given 1/2 a chance I`d be there tomorrow.

Are there any photos of Glanrafon as we lived at Rhos Newyeth in 1963-5 and I remember hiding behind the Glanrafon letter box to miss the school bus. We thought that the chapel at the end of our lane was haunted as we kept hearing a car come down the path and when we went outside to see who it was there was no one there. My sister Cilla also said she saw a little man sitting on a stone in a field.
How's that for a scary story. We lived between Glanrafon and Llandonna. Great times...Sian
