I can't tell you what she is like, because she is like the wind, but she helped me when my mother passed away, and she is one of the most inspirational people who come into your life and you never let go. A truly wonderful person and friend.

Our parish in south Worcestershire is currently without a priest. If we end up with one half as good as Nia I will be well pleased. My parents are buried in Bala and Nia conducted one of the best funeral services I have ever been to for my mother. Keep up the good work, Nia. You're just what the Church needs.

I received a copy of the Vicar of Bala TV show from Welsh relatives. I have been so upset over the plans to sell the Llanuwchllyn Church where my ancestors lived.Could someone update me on what happened?

I was in Bala this Easter 2007 and saw the re-enactment of the crucifiction. I learnt that the lady leading the proceedings was the Anglican Vicar. As a member of the Church of England it was her church that i wanted to attend on Easter Sunday. At the end of the ceremony i asked which was her church in the town. She was clearly touched by this enquiry and advised me that the church was closed as it was being refurbised and that sevices were being held in the Church School.
What a joy the Easter Service was for my wife and myself. In spite of us having to juggle between Welsh and English the Easter message was clear; the Vicar being down to earth and inspirational. The people in Bala need to appreciate how blessed they are with such a committed visionary vicar as Nia. We have to move foward and modernise for our faith to survive. Please give her your support.

Having been brought up in Dolgellau with relatives in Bala, I am enjoying the series very much.
However, the Church does not seem to have a choir or have I missed something?
Rev.Nia is certainly an excellent vicar and I wish her well and every success in the future.

Nia conducted the funeral service for my late mother whilst she was working in Rhyl.
What a wonderful, modern service Nia led at a time when the family needed the support of such a caring figure. Nia particularly took the time to put the loss of my mother in words and pictures that my children and brothers children could understand. It leaves them with memories even today of their Grandma although no longer here being in another wonderful place! What a loss to Rhyl but a gain for Bala ......that they should embrace!

Although not Welsh I love Wales and especially the area around Bala. I thought Nia was wonderful and wish her well. The sight of her serving behind the bar of the local pub to raise funds was a great idea. I've told the local priest here in Anfield about it but I somehow don't think he's taking the hint !!

Nia was my Social Worker at the Haemophilia Unit at the University Hospital Of Wales in Cardiff many years ago. I was pleasantley surprised to see her face on my tv screen earlier tonight and I wish her well for the future. She is an extremely caring peron and the people of Bala are lucky to have her as their vicar.
