Listen to City Boys by Evolve
St Asaph band Evolve were formed in 2003 as a four-piece combo - the addition of a bass guitarist in 2004 completed the line-up. The band released their first EP in March 2006 entitled 'City Boys' - a tribute to their roots. Evolve have many influences which include Oasis, Stone Roses, U2 and many other 90s indie bands, as well as the up-to-date Arctic Monkeys.

Denuo is Tom Mason. He plays all of the instruments on the demos and is from Betws-yn-Rhos near Abergele. His influences include Bloc Party, Angels & Airwaves and The Foo Fighters.

A four-piece band based in the Conwy area. They describe their sound as 'cool melodic rock - mellow rock.' Amy's influences include Kelly Clarkson, KT Tunstall and Alanis Morrisette.

Salem
A four-piece 'heavy melodic rock' band based in the Anglesey area. Their music leans towards alternative rock with theirs influences ranging from Korn, Metallica and Machine Head. They gig all over North Wales and as far away as Warrington and Birkenhead.

Gafyn Buckland
Gafyn is a solo artist and describes his sound as 'indie experimental, alternative rock'. When performing live, Gafyn is fond of using samples in his music. His influences include The Coral and the Super Furries.
