Greg Carns, who submitted this picture, says: "It's a 360º panorama taken from the summit of Y Garn on May 21 2004. We walked the Welsh 3000s (all 15 peaks in Snowdonia over 3000ft, a distance of 32 miles and over 13,000ft of ascent and descent) that day to raise money for the local school, starting at Pen-y-Pass at 4:05am and finishing at Bwlch y Ddeufaen at 01:26 the next morning (took us 21 hours 21 minutes).
It was taken as a series of stills and joined together to make this panorama. I like it as you can see most of the 3000'ers on it - Crib Goch, Carnedd Ugain, Snowdon, Elidir Fawr, Y Garn, Glyder Fawr, Glyder Fach, Tryfan, Pen-yr-ole-wen, Carnedd Dafydd, Carnedd Llewelyn and Yr Elen. The only ones you can't see are Foel Grach, Carnedd Uchaf and Foel Fras."
Greg lives in Rainhill, Merseyside, but explains: "I spend a lot of time from March to October at my caravan at Morfa Bychan, Porthmadog, which is conveniently a short drive away from Snowdonia."
