Valley Lakes Valley Lakes

Heron, ducks and other waterfowl are likely to be spotted by visitors to this small RSPB nature reserve where reed-fringed lakes and small, rocky outcrops make up the habitat.

Opening times: At all times.
Access: There is no disabled access to the lakes.
Location: Caergeiliog, Anglesey.
Directions: 3.2 km (2 miles) south of Caegeilliog.

I live directly across the road to the Valley Wetlands, I love walking here with my dogs. I am shocked at how peaceful and beautful the wetlands are, considering the RAF planes fly a matter of feet above the ground the wildlife is plentiful. I love it.
