This large Anglesey reservoir is home to wintering wildfowl and little grebes during the summer. There have been glimpses of the scarce black tern and little gull.
Visitors are welcome to purchase a days permit for trout fishing (worm, fly and spinner) and a fishing boat with wheelchair access is available to hire.
The site is also a base for many walks around the island, as provided by Menter Mon.
Opening times:
All times. Visitor centre staffed Monday to Friday and seven days a week in summer.
Access:
Disabled anglers can get right to the lake's edge as special parking is provided. A boat complete with ramp means getting on and off is possible.
