There is an interesting DVD - A Celtic Pilgrimage to Bardsey - presented by the Llyn vicar, Rev. Andrew Jones. He follows both north and south pilgrim routes along the Llyn to Bardsey. The ancient pilgrim chapels/churches are beautiful and evocative. Just log in to St Hywyns church at Aberdaron where the renowned English language Welsh poet R.S. Thomas was minister for years.

This place is brilliant. The 9am sailing from Pwllheli is well worth it. You only need 1 hour to take the magnificent sights of this enthralling Island. Whilst there i saw shags, manx shearwaters and curlews. Although i didnt get to stay in one of the old farmhouses, i still got a taste of welsh cooking, mmmmm welsh cakes, you should definitely try them, they're delicious. Before i left i had time for a quick swim in one of the bays there.
