Children's Farm Park and Slate Caverns

This working farm lets you get close to and feed their array of animals, which include lambs, calves, goats, ducks and pigs. There is a small birds of prey centre and there are nature walks down to the lake and through the woods.

Visitors can also investigate the slate caverns, learn about the industry and view the mine workings.

Opening times: Daily from April to September 10am to 5pm.
Access: There aren't any steps, only a ramp on this farm. As well as plenty of parking, there's a disabled toilet and relatively easy access to the shop and cafe.
Location: The Slate Caverns, Llanfair, Harlech, LL46 2SA.
Telephone: 01766 780247

An excellent day out for kids and adults, with plenty to do including a wildlife walk and feeding the lambs. My kids love it.

Excellent day out! The slate caverns are a must see and the children loved the farm. The view from the cafeteria is the best I've seen. You can get a return ticket when you first visit and use it as many times as you like. We used it four times. Very good value.

I just wanted to say that this is a wonderful day out if you're ever in the area. The farm is clean, friendly and the kids loved it. Excellent. Also cheap entry and the slate mine is definately worth looking around!
