Bodafon is a real working farm where you can get your hands dirty and experience what it's like to work with animals. You can bottle-feed calves or help milk a cow.
Other creatures great and small include sheep, goats, deer, llamas and alpacas in the farm's paddocks. In a move back to the olden days, shire horses work the fields and you can take a tractor ride round the grounds.
The farm is also involved in an owl breeding programme and you can get as close as you dare to native and foreign species of owls and birds of prey.
Opening times:
10am to 6pm daily.
Access:
As well as ramps, there is a disabled toilet and parking isn't a problem. Large-print literature is also available.

hookes, denbighshire A small but personal, friendly farm. Perfect way to spend a few hours with pre school age children. Very reasonable entrance fee meaning you can return time and time again. Was lovely to be able to hold and feed the newborn lambs and goats in March! Thu May 3 08:56:24 2007
