Gypsy Wood Park near Caernarfon is a great place to take the kids. They love seeing all the animals and watching the trains whizz by.

I went on the Welsh Highland Railway with my family and went to the pub at Waunfawr station for lunch. This pub is child friendly and brews its own beer and also has a camp site. It's worth a visit if you have kids and like real ales.

We were so impressed with the Electric Mountain at Llanberis. It was wonderful and we wished more Canadians could see what could be done. Keep up the good work.

What about one of Caernarfon's major attractions - the Welsh Highland Railway - now running a daily service to Rhyd Ddu. As well as the ongoing reinstatement of the Railway through to Porthmadog; which has many local volunteers involved.

Stone Science [Anglesey] is a wonderful place to visit. Everything about geology is explained by very helpful staff and there is a great shop full of minerals and fossils.
