Mother Nature's anger

lava

By Serena,
Ysgol Brynhyfryd,
Ruthin

She rages below their feet
Curling along the rocks,
Hissing and bubbling
With anger and fury
She burns inside, reaching for the ground.
She runs along the underground
Round one way and the other
And up she goes, breaking surface
Soaring through the air
For freedom.

Pulled back down by the force of gravity
Now she curls and twists slowly,
Crawling towards the sea.
She looks calm and slow
But still bubbles with rage
And hisses with anger.

She hisses as she enters the sea
Forming into a still, quiet rock
On the edge of the sea.
Destroyed all nature on her course
Leaving her fury behind
With smoke in her tail.
