To dance with the stars

By Natasia from Rhyl

Your eyes are made up of tiny stars, sparkling crystal and blue
Your heart is made up of nine carrot gold, every one wants part of you
Your hand fits mine like a glove, so soft, it whispers I love you
Your arms are wide open, they hold me so tight
It was magic the way that we danced tonight

The stars were watching
The lights were low
Music was playing
How I loved you so

My tears, I cry, through my love for you
My heart, it aches, I'm longing for you
My hand, it shakes, I'm longing for you
My arms, they need to hold you

The stars, they have gone
The daylight is near
The music has stopped
You've disappeared

My dance was a tango, it was not meant for three
Your dance was country it was not meant for me

The stars, they have gone
The daylight is here
The music has stopped
All that's left is a tear.
