Poem for Mamma

By Kirsty

You went away so long ago
Your picture by my bed,
I miss the way you used to smile
Your voice still in my head,
The way you laughed,
The way you talked,
I even miss the way you walked.
I loved you dearly,
I still do,
I count the days
Till I see you.
You were a happy person
Never down,
I never saw you wear a frown.
That's the way I remember you,
All the happy times.
I loved you then,
Have to miss you now.
Keep giving us these signs,
But now you are so far away,
But in my heart still here,
I know you're watching over me
My darling Mamma dear.
