September 11

US flag

By Bethan
Ysgol Morgan Llwyd,
Wrexham

As the people of the Trade Center,
Prepare for work, sorting out papers,
Typing on computers, phoning customers,
Terror does not arise in their hearts,
For they know not what will happen!

As the plane draws nearer
The people shriek in terror.
But no one can help them.
As the plane crashes
People leap into escalators.

Fire dances, leaping wildly,
Firemen search, they are not cowardly.
People reach the bottom floor
But there's no more help any more.
As people died being brave,
They're under the rubble like a cave.

Relatives mourn, they weep.
But this in their hearts they will keep.
For nobody will forget
September the 11 2001.
