John Evans: "Reading Alun's article on Rhosymedre and his references to the old church hall reminded me of this photograph I have, taken during the Coronation party in 1953. The lady standing in the centre is old Mrs Love, mother of Arthur and Denis Love ('Uncle Den', as I always knew him, and husband to Joyce Love, who Alun also mentions). The little boy to the left foreground with glasses and dressed as a cowboy, is my brother Richard Evans, while across the table from him are Neil Machin and (I think) Brian Beesley. The two girls in the right foreground are Sheila and Bunty Lockley (my cousins). I was too young to enjoy the festivities, being only 18 months old! Can anybody recognise anyone else?"
