Headline:
Wintry showers in north and west. Mainly fine in southeast.

This Evening and Tonight:
Sleet or snow showers will continue over many western parts, where it will also be rather windy. Wintry showers at first across northern areas, developing over southern parts later in the night. Mostly clear and frosty in the east.

Monday:
Cold with some sunshine, but wintry showers in the west and for a time in the south. Cloudy with sleet or snow for a time later across southeastern parts.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
Continuing cold. Sleet or snow showers likely in the north and west on Tuesday and at first on Wednesday, east mainly dry. Rain, sleet and snow spreading northeast on Thursday.
