Take a walk up to Gop Hill, near Prestatyn, which is the second largest pre-historic mound in Britain and, possibly, site of the queen Boudica's last battle. Caves which lie to the south were used for burial in the Neolithic period...
To begin the steep ascent to Gop Hill you will be using a permissive route where the landowner has agreed access to the summit. North Wales coast can be seen in the distance.
