Coed-y-Felin

Coed y Felin Awash with bluebells in the spring this reserve is also home to Pied Flycatchers in summer who migrate from Africa to nest in Northern Europe.

Details: Coed-y-Felin is an ancient woodland, carpeted with bluebells in Spring. It is an ancient broadleaved woodland, extending for about half a mile along the south facing slope of the Afon Chwiler Valley, about four miles north west of Mold. It is leased to the North Wales Wildlife Trust by Wimpy Asphalt.

Location: The reserve is situated four miles north west of Mold at Hendre, on the A541. There is a small car park at the western end with disabled access and a large car park at the eastern end.
