Even on the really bad days,
A friend knows that compromise
Means both getting your ways.

A friend is the one who knows the real you
And still loves you the way you are.
A friend is a friend indeed,
Very close or away, very far.

A friend is the one who says 'NO'
When you try to pick up a beer,
A friend is the one who says
'No matter what, I will always be here'.

A friend is the one who stays up all night
Giggling and talking about boys,
A friend in the second grade
Was the one who shared his coolest truck toys.

I wish I could tell the world
How much I cherish my friends,
And how much I love all of you
Every single day without ends.
