Pontcysyllte scenes

A local history book called Memories of Pontcysyllte draws together the stories of people living in the area around the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, namely Acrefair, Cefn Mawr, Froncysyllte, Garth, Newbridge, Pentre, Rhosymedre and Trevor. Pete Garrett, born 1949, says: "There were lots and lots of shops in Cefn, there was no need to go into town, which is the opposite now."
