The film is an induction and training video for new recruits to the plant. You can find out more about the film from a story by BBC Local News.

It was unearthed by scientist David Cooper from the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, Porton Down, Salisbury, which still monitors the site even though it has today been reclaimed as a nature reserve.

David found the film among files from predecessors after visiting Rhydymwyn and realised the archive footage was of the Valley Works site.
