Former North Wales Hospital employee Dafydd Lloyd Jones remembers being a member of the hospital band.

Transcript: speech marks I used to be a senior nurse. I started in 1966 and remained until 1995 when they closed the hospital. This is a picture of the hospital band. They had an orchestra in the 1800s and it became a brass band. I was a member for about 10 years until it finished and this photograph is of the band attending the Mayor's Sunday Parade in Denbigh town. The band was also involved in a lot of activities to do with patients and they formed the entertainment for the patients' ball and the annual carnival. speech marks
