Crosville bus drivers

Former Crosville bus driver Bob Sargent, who worked at the Flint depot, shares memories & old photos from the 1970s, including a bus driver competition & a flood at the depot.

speech marks Back in the 1970s I worked at Flint depot for seven years. During this time there was one occasion when the River Dee burst its banks and flooded the depot.The photos I've sent show the local farmer at that time helping to clear away the remaining mud that covered the forecourt after the worst was over. The other photo shows a passing vehicle travelling towards Flint. You can see the flats in the distance. speech marks
