The cycle pathway along the river Dee provides intersting views that have previously been denied most residents of Deeside - particulary those of the Airbus wings being loaded and the maritime gateway to Chester. It is a cycle ride that can be thoroughly recomended and if the weather changes there's always the option of putting the bike onto the train back to Deeside. One thing that might encourage more uptake of the cycle path sthough is a notice on the new bridge over the main road at Dealand. There must be many people who pass beneath it in their cars every day that are unaware of the significance of the relative! ly new structure as part of the national cycle network.

http://www.ontrackgroup.biz for more information about a recently established adapted cycle project for the disabled. It's called On Track Community and is based on Bastion Road in Prestatyn. They currently have five adapted cycles including: 2 Side-by-Sides, 1 Duet, 1 Adult Trike, & 1 Tandem. Great fun and really sociable for everyone!

Wales should be really proud of what it is doing for mountain biking. For our holidays in the French Alps we only take riders with a certain level of experience and we use mountain bikers' abilities to ride the specially made Welsh trails as the benchmark. Our recommendation for training is 'get yourself to Wales its the best place to practice in the UK'.
