Buckley Running Club

Buckley Running Club train on a Tuesday and Thursday at the Elfed Sports Centre at 7pm. They welcome runners of all standards, from fast runners looking for help with speed sessions, to slower runners just looking for company and chat.

Deeside Athletic Club

Deeside Athletic Club gets its members involved in track and field, cross-country and road running. The club has developed a strong tradition in track and field athletics. They meet at the Deeside College Stadium, Connah's Quay, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 9pm.If you fancy going along, contact 01244 548656.

Deestriders Running Club

Deestriders Running Club are a small running club with around 35 members. Again, they cater for competitive runners, or those just trying to keep fit. They meet at 7pm on Tuesdays at the Corus Sports and Social Club in Shotton, or on Thursdays at the Deeside Stadium. Prestatyn Running Club

Prestatyn Running Club's website includes a calendar of running events for the year. Seniors meet at the Saints Fitness Centre, Meliden, on a Wednesday. Contact Steve Hatfield on 01745 856672 to join.

Wrexham Amateur Athletics Club

Wrexham AAC are involved in cross country, fell, road, track and field running. They welcome athletes of all ages whether they are fast or slow and their aim is to have fun as well as compete at all levels from local meetings to Commonwealth Games. Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7pm for under 15s and 7-8pm for 16 and above. Congratulations to Wrexham AC and members for performances at the Junior Welsh Championships. Kieran Cooper rewrote the record books in the under-13 long jump achieving a new indoor record with 4.92m. Hannah Thomas was victorious in the under-17’s 60m and went on to win the high jump, equalling the championship best performance with 1.60m.

I used to attend the Deeside running club and was wondering if there was anyone that wanted to run around the Mold area where I live as there doesn't seem to be a running club in Mold.

Well done to Flint Air Cadets Athletics Team! 10 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals can't be bad. Good luck to you all at RAF Cosford. I am sure you will do North Wales proud.
