Prestatyn beach is a wide north facing sandy beach with rock groynes. A long split level promenade runs the whole length of the beach with ramped access from the car parks.

Although one long stretch of beach, there are actually three beaches at Prestatyn; Barkby, Central and Ffrith.

Watersports: Windsurfing and sailing and jet-skiing with permit at Barkby Beach
Directions: Road link via A55 Expressway along North Wales coast from M56 & M6.
