Forrester's Hall is 50 Church Street, Flint, and the ground floor is now a hairdressers on the main shopping street. The 1st and 2nd floors are now office spaces. I worked for an organisation who rented out the top floor during 2005/2008. Conincidentally, my father, as a very young man, used to 'court' a girl who lived there. Her name was Rita Messham and her family rented rooms on 1st and 2nd floors there during and after the war. The building was originally occupied by the Forrester's Society which have their own website if you are interested. If you go to www.fflint.co.uk and look for 'Old Photographs'. Look under 'Church Street' and if you can find Slide 11 you will see a picture of No 50. It is the 2 storey building on the left hand side. There is a chimney up the side of the wall and it has two bay windows on the first floor. If you think your grandmother was Rita Mesham or related to her - let me know and I will pass on more information.

My sister is trying to find out the history of Forrester's Hall because our grandmother lived there before the war (2nd). Do you have any information? Thanks.
