Mill workers' jobs

Q: Martin from Flint: "Tracing one of my ancestors, I found that he worked in the mill in Greenfield, Holywell, in 1881, as a 'woolen fukker'. What did that job entail?"

I would check your source as it is probably a mis-spelling of fuller. The fulling process was, I think, the raising of the nap of the cloth.
