Top Boathouses, Moss

Q: Janette Lyon from Wirral: "I am querying whether anybody has any photographs of 'Top Boathouses', Moss, Broughton from the 1940s? My mother was born there in 1941 and I would love to receive any info at all about the 'Top Boathouses'. I do have some information about 'Bottom Boathouses' from the John Bagshaw book; it is the 'Top Boathouses' that I am interested in. I would be grateful to receive any information no matter how small it is."

My grandad was born in the Boathouse in 1928, the Top Boathouses, according to the map I have - they were two houses.

I live in the Moss, quite a quiet place to live. Shame about the motorbikers.
