One of two panoramic photographs showing the former WWII munitions factory, near Mold, Flintshire, where mustard gas shells were produced and which played its part in the first research into the atomic bomb. Rhydymwyn Valley Works was decommissioned between 1946-48 and then made safe in later years before becoming a nature reserve.
