The highest point above the footpath is Hope Mountain, as seen from nearby Waun y Llyn Country Park, near Caergwrle, on the Wrexham-Flintshire border. A five minute walk from the car and walkers can view the landscape for miles around. Liverpool Cathedral is visible over the Dee Estuary as are the Cheshire Plains, Moel Famau and the Clwydian Range.
