This view of the mouth of the Dee Estuary is taken from West Kirby, Wirral, and looks (left to right) at the town's waterfront properties, marine lake and concourse. At the far side of the estuary is North Wales, particularly Deeside, Flint and Holywell. The small islands to the right of the picture form Hilbre Island nature reserve.
