It was about 11 o'clock at night and I was walking home from my daughter's house as I turned the corner there was a couple and they were talking and they crossed the road and there were these two electric balls, all different colours, more blue than any colour, and they just appeared and they came over to me and just went straight into me. I shouted 'ahh', and I haven't seen them since. I'll report back if they ever come again.

John from Newark...Your encounter seems to have happened just a couple months before the rash of triangular light sightings in nearby Morristown, NJ. You might want to contact MUFON of NJ or a local researcher. It might/might not be connected. Never know, though.

It sounds like a ghost orb. The red orbs are to destroy ghosts but blue ones make them stronger. This has happened to me loads of times.

I still remember to this day back in 1985 me and a group of my friends (about five of us) were playing around behind a patrol station at night. We opened a tin shed (mini garage if you're from the U.S.) and suddenly an eletric blue ball of light about the size of a tennis ball came out from the shed, ascended a little and then suddenly took off / disappeared. I know that I wasn't the only one to see it! But I can't remember who I was with now to discuss the phenomenon. I remember clearly imaging ghosts when I was in bed, but I'm not so sure now that it was necessarily a spirit?

I was sleeping next to my girlfriend about 2 months ago. It must have been 4am. I awoke very quicky out of my sleep for an unknown reason. As soon as I looked up next to my window covered by a long red cloth blind, I saw a miniature ship. Must have been about 1 or 2 feet wide, and about 2 feet tall and it was a silver circled shape disc with a smaller circle for the cockpit or somthing with blue trimming and rainbow colored lights, about 8 of them blinking rainbow lights very fast. It seemed like as soon as it recognised that I had just opened my eyes it zoomed up in what it feels like 2 frames of a movie and quickly disappeared through my roof by the window. I was shocked but again like many people didn't even feel compelled to wake up panic and think about it, I just asked my girl did you see that. She said no and I peacefully passed out. It wasn't a light, it was an actual ship. A mini one in my house. It looked as if it was watching my girl sleep or it just felt that way beacause she sleeps by the window and that's where it made its quick exit. Very weird. Next time I'm going to try to jump up and tackle it. LOL Very true story though kinda freaks me out.

I was visiting in California, getting ready to go lay out and try and get a tan. As I walked thru the kitchen, I turned around to say something to my aunt, and I saw this little ball of light floating above the stove, just flashing. It was very bright, flashing on and off. I took off my sunglasses and said Rosemary, what is that? She turned around and just dropped her hands to her side, turned white. For some reason I was just amazed, I walked over to it and stuck my hand in the middle of it to see if it felt like anything. I didn't know if it would have energy, I couldn't feel anything, so I leaned over and put my head in it, I said 'is it on my head?', Rosemary said yes, that was all, then the light got smaller, more condensed, and flashed slower, after a minute it floated up the exhaust pipe above the stove, and up into the sky. I watched it up the pipe, go way out into the sky. I still don't know what it was, but it was something, something that flew down and came in to see us and then flew away. I'm not sure why I couldn't feel it when I put my hand in it...I asked my aunt, she said maybe an angel. I would think maybe I imagined it but she saw it too, it's very cool and I really was amazed and wondering.

I suspect I was having a very lucid dream or light playing tricks on me but here's what I saw last night. Lying on my bed trying to get to sleep, out of the corner of my eye I see it, at first I think theres' a bird in my room, I then open my eyes to focus. About 3 feet from my head oval shaped like a mini clear rugby ball, with small lights fluctuating from front to back. A bit like a floating squid but no eyes or tentacles if moves closer then back hovering in a dart like movement but is focussing directly on me throughout. Not taking my eyes off it I try an nudge my wife to turn on the light, she does not here me and I cannot seem to move. By the time I get her to put the light on its gone, no doors or windows open so either it wasn't there or it just vanished and I get an earful for waking up the mrs. Seemed friendly not scary though. P.S no alcohol, drugs or religion involved. I'll update if it comes back.

I am glad to find this website. I have been seeing cubes, rectangles, orbs, and other shapes in my apartment, now, for weeks, and entering my body. There are also eyeball orbs on all of my walls. This morning I poured out some rubbing alcohol and put it back on the shelf in the closet. I heard a noise, turned around to see of the bottle fell over, and it was GONE! I've looked everywhere for it. I can only assume that the eyeball orb in the closet, snatched the bottle. I also found a solid mass under the skin in my ear, about a month ago. There is no explanation for this showing up overnight. I have been waking up at night with dozens of orbs floating over my body, and an intense buzzing in my ear and head. I have the feeling that I'm being tracked by extra terresterials. If anyone has any expereinced this, or has knowledge of this phenomenon, please email, asap!

I was in a rush, driving at my Governor speed of 180km/hr. then I went onto a gravel road, slowed down to 140, and it was on the gravel road, in the bush, just me in my car, I notice a light come on outside my passenger window. It looked like a blacklight, purple. I think blacklights are purple. Anyway, as soon as I saw it, I wanted to keep looking at it and figure out what the hell it was but I couldn't stop focussing on the road, so I started slowing down with the brakes while looking back and forth between the light and the road. I looked out my left window, nothing, in my car, beside myself and all around, everything else was normal, nothing I could think of would create this light.

One night I was falling asleep in my bed that was directly in front of my window, when I noticed a blue ball of light floating just outside of the glass. As soon as I made note that it wasn't anything I could explain, not a firework nor a person holding a flashlight, I was gripped with fear. I looked away because I knew it was something else, a ghost or a creature, and I was not brave. After a few seconds of waiting for the thing to disappear, I looked back and it was still there. So again I turned away until it left, and eventually it did. I don't think it was sinister, and I wish I had investigated further what it was, but I haven't seen it since.

I have seen this tiny blue light twice now in my apartment. I was in the bathroom the other night and all the lights were off so the apartment was dark and all of a sudden there was a very tiny ball of blue light just hovering in the doorway. I called to see if it was my son playing tricks but that wasn't so and it wasn't his electric shaver on the charger so I turned on the light and then turned off the light and it was gone. It presented no threat to me nor did I sense any evil but I sure would like to know what the heck it was and where it came from. I was only about a 1/4 inch so as you can see it was very tiny but very noticeable.If anyone has any ideas please tell me and I have had other little activity around my apartment but always benign and never any feeling of evil or harm.

In June I noticed what looked like a star, only it moved all over the sky (left, right, up, down) so I knew it wasn't a star. The next night there was a softball size light outside my bedroom window w/ enough light to reflect in my window (like headlights). Instead of being terrified, I got very sleepy & went to sleep. Now, on occasion I see lights out of the corner of my eye and shifts of light in the room, as if the sky gets brighter or darker. Anytime this happens, I suddenly get this wave of sleepiness. I go with it and drift off, but I want to say, I've had insomnia all my life, I'm not seeing these things because I'm sleepy - I swear, it's the other way around and I think the UFO and the lights are related. I think I'm being visited by something in another dimension.

I have just recently got to thinking of something that happened to me some 13 years ago now. It was one night in September. My son was only 10 months old and was asleep in his own bedroom. I remember waking in the early hours of the morning and watching a bright light travel around my bedroom, I didn't feel frightened. I felt it was watching me and wanted me to see it. It went out of my bedroom window and appeared to go and join many larger lights in a small tree outside my house. I remember standing on my bed watching them for a long time, my husband was asleep beside me in bed and for some reason it never occurred to me to wake him and tell him to look. The lights eventually disappeared. I went and checked on my son and went back to sleep. I didn't even tell anyone until a few days later.

I'm interested to read about so many experiences here which are similar to mine - I thought I was the only one. My experience happened as a boy back in the early 1970s. I was asleep in bed in the early hours when I awoke suddenly as if compelled to do so. I looked out of my bedrom window and in the distance across two or three fields facing our house I saw a ball of light approaching in a linear path, as I watched the light get nearer it appeared to be 'on fire' finally the light stopped about 10 feet away from my bedroom window just hovering in mid air. It was about the size of a beachball and seemed to be made of a kind of controlled fire similar to how you see a close up of the surface of the sun. I wasn't afraid in fact quite the opposite. I stared at this thing for a few minutes until it just took off really quickly and vanished. I then went back to bed and have never talked about it since. When I think about it, it really seemed more than just a ball of hovering light, it seemed to have an intelligence about it as if it were sentient.

When I was in my high school leavers' service in church, I looked up to see a bright blue shape of light floating above me, no one else could see it but it was definitely there, about 5 seconds later it was gone. I haven't seen it since.

Surprised nobody has mentioned "foo fighters" yet. This is an as yet unexplained phenomenon first recorded in 1943, where military pilots reported that their planes were being pursued by balls of light that were capable of independent motion, and which would manoevre, "dance" and "play" around the planes. The interesting thing is that this started being reported, practically simultaneously, for all combatants' aircraft. These reports were kept "top secret" by British and American air forces, as it was thought this was some sort of German experimental weapon that was being tried out - even though the only value it could posibly have was psychological, as the lights did not damage the aircraft in any way at all. Then in 1945, captured Luftwaffe reports revealed that German pilots had experienced these things too, and taken them to be some sort of British or American weapon... and since the fall of the Soviet Union and the opening up of Russian archives, we now know the Russian air force saw them too. "Foo Fighters" have been intermittently reported ever since by the world's air forces, and nobody's any closer to an explanation. Perhaps the ones in North Wales are exceptionally low-flying foos?

Around 1:30am I glanced outside my window just to bring in the cat and saw several very small, fast, tube like size blue lights whizzing down my street. At first I thought it might be some kid playing with their lazer pens. But afer several minutes later I became more sceptical due to the the angle and speed it was whizzing by. One approached near my window and seemed like it was moving in mid air like a fire fly but blue. The movements of the lights were very fast that I had problems keeping track of it. However I also managed to see that there were also other things whizzing from house to house and over (left & right) these were not blue but due to the lit lampposts down the street I could just manage to see them. I'm not into paranormal stuff but it has left me paranoid and feeling that I need to have an eye check up.

This morning on the 9th of July 2008, I was woken suddenly in the early hours which a few years ago happened a lot.At 3am I heard this strange noise in the sky. It carried on for about 2 hours till I finally got to sleep again. It didn't sound like a plane or a helicopter. I'm used to hearing them 'cause my room is next to the open street. The noise was coming from the sky but I could not see what it was even though the sky was clear. The sound kept coming back though every few seconds which freaked me out a lot.

About 10 yrs ago I was closing an upstairs window and saw a football shaped and sized silver ball circling the house across the road from me. It was a windy night but it flew as if powered in some way, it seemed to be looking for something. I watched for around 10 mins and then it flew off. Don't know what it was, help if you know.

I saw a little blue light with a hollow centre hovering around my lounge room, it was there about 5 seconds and disappeared. I kept seeing it in the corner of my eye but everytime I tried to focus on it, it disappeared. I started to take photos in its direction and got 23 photos one after the other following its movements.

Wow! I thought I was starting to go crazy! My first 'bedroom light' was late last year. I was in bed one night, woke to see a lime green ufo-shaped light, the size of a football, hovering near the lampshade. It stayed about 2 seconds then vanished, like someone turning off a light. The next was a blue cube, on December 29th 2007. It was nearer, this time, on the sloping ceiling. Previously, I'd rationalised the green light as some form of 'after image' or that I woke expecting to see the lampshade (a similar shape and size.) But this was a cube of dusky blue light, about 6-8" wide. About a week later, I woke to see a small rectangle of purple-blue light on the right hand wall. Next, in the same place, another rectangle, but more of a greenish blue. This stayed a few seconds, and looking at it I just felt very peaceful and calm. (i.e, not threatened.) Next, I was woken by a very loud 'pop!' sound in that corner. I got up to investigate but found nothing. Next, a few days later, I woke to find the whole corner of the room (same corner, adjacent to the bed) was the most beautiful royal blue. Then it went and was just normal darkness. The night before last, the blue light appeared in a strange shape, like a mixture of blackberry and octopus! I have also seen a lime green tube-like thing. What are they? Out of doors, I've seen two lime green 'fireballs' in the sky. It's so nice to find I'm in good company. I thought I needed the optician (or something stronger!)

About eight years ago, when I was in middle school, I woke up one night because my room had suddenly lit up just enough to startle me. I went straight to my window, and there outside my window was a glowing ball of light about the size of a softball, and greeninsh blue. It was level with my face, no more than a foot away, but for some reason it didn't scare me. I stared at it, trying to come up with a logical explanation for it. It was not attached to anything. It was hovering, slightly bobbing, but staying in the same spot. I can't remember how long I stared at it, but it seemed like forever. I don't remember going back to bed, but morning came and I had totally forgotten about it, which is really strange to me. But the next night it came back again and I stared at it again. I don't know why, but I didn't feel the need to tell anyone about it. Once again, I didn't remember the next day. Well, it came back the third night, but this time it was different. I was suddenly afraid. I ran to the front door to examine it from another angle. There it was, still hovering in front of my bedroom window. I got really scared and started wondering why it was there. I ran to wake up my sister and we ran into my bedroom, but it was gone and I haven't seen it since. The weirdest thing about it was that I was so calm about it the first two nights. That is nothing like my usual self!

Me and about 5-6 other friends were at the local elementary school on the playground after dark talking and me and one other buddy both looked up at the same time and saw this green ball of light far off in the sky. We pointed it out to our other buddies who were chatting then we watched it for a minute and it seemed to be coming towards us. We all got scared and ran / biked home - the ball chased us for over 3 blocks.

I am so glad you folks saw a blue light UFO too, thought we were crazy for a while there! Last March hubby and I just parked our car in the square where we live, it was about 8.15pm and fairly dark. Looking over the roof tops we saw a small, silent, electric blue light coming towards us out of the west. At first we thought it was a helicopter light but there was no sound, no running lights of red and green, and no beam coming down from the light. Hard to gauge the size, possibly 2-3ft (30-60cms)? I felt it was watching us because it stopped and just hung there for at least half a minute while we verbally puzzled on what it may be. It then winked out, no after glow, nothing. My hubby still thinks it may have been some sort of helicopter light, it did move like one I admit, but no sound no running lights (isn't that illegal?), then to wink out with no after-glow and no craft shape left behind (it was not full dark).

About 10 years ago, I was staying at my boyfriend's house (who is now my husband), and I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the restroom. I opened the door and walked into the dark hallway, and in the corner near the ceiling I saw an object, about a foot in length, with small flashing colored lights on the front. For some reason, even though I saw this object, I continued to walk to the restroom. While in the restroom, I remember thinking about the object, and when I returned back to the bedroom, the object was still situated in the same location. At that moment, my boyfriend turned on the bedside lamp, and I immediately swung around to look at the object, and it was gone. I believe I was in some sort of trance, particularly because I remember seeing it two separate times (going and coming back), yet I didn't actually react to it being there until the light was turned on and I somehow snapped out of it. It was by far the strangest experience I have ever had!

Yesterday I was in one room and my 6 year old daughter was in another. As I stood looking at her, I saw something white and solid, about the size of a paper aeroplane whizz through the room. I thought it might have been the cat going crazy, but it was much faster, about 2 foot off the ground, and anyway the cat was exactly where he had always been, asleep in the sun. My daughter looked up and said "Did a white bird just fly in here?" We checked and could find nothing at all. Very strange.

About 26 years ago three of my friends and I were walking down Flaxman Road in Camberwell, London, on a bright weekday afternoon. I looked up and saw a ball of light about the size of a football, like the colour of the sun but whiter, less than 100 feet in the air above a railway line. At first I thought someone was shining a torch in the sky, but then I realised it was daytime and you would not be able to see torchlight in the sky in these conditions. I pointed it out to my friends and as we walked we looked at it, but it was also moving at about the pace we were walking. A little further along we stopped and the ball of light stopped and just hung there for a few seconds and then it started to move again. I thought it was coming towards us, but it seemed to change direction and started moving vertically and then it just accelerated at an amazing speed upwards and away and it made a high pitch noise as it shot off, not a loud noise. I think the light was following us some way back further down the road but we had not noticed it because it was above us. True story.

It has been playing on my mind for some time now, so I thought I would try to find out if others have experienced the same. Last summer I was standing on my back porch when about a metre away to my right I noticed a solid round white light about the size of a tennis ball move slowly out from behind a small shrub which was growing through my fence, the light stop in front of the pickett gate about waist height. I initially thought it was a torch light, but from where? The light was not broken by the gaps between the picketts. It stopped moving for a moment and then as if we caught each other's eye, the light then moved quickly at a down angle towards the ground and then in the blink of an eye it took off toward the night sky. In disbelief I stood there for some time trying to confirm to myself what I had just witnessed. I've told a few friends what I had seen, but it's hard to explain and hard to explain what I felt when this happened.

I have ben wondering about the little blue spaceship I saw. I was aleep I heard a bang. I saw a light out of the corner of my eye going in to the kids room. I started to go to the kids room when I see the light coming back to my room. I freeze quick think that if I woke my husband he would make noise so I laid down with my eyes open and watched the light getting closer. When I realized there was NO body connected to the light I opend wide eyed and focused, saw a ship, closed myes tight and started saying in my head you are seeing things...

Last night I saw two very thin bright lights floating around the garden in the rain. They seemed to have an intelligence as though they were observing me. They moved around in response to my movements. I hit out at one with an item and it almost popped as it vanished into thin air.

In 1997 I woke up one morning and saw a sphere the size of a football floating above me almost touching the ceiling. It had various holes around it with red, blue and yellow lights beaming out of it and also a stronger white light beaming out on either side. I only saw it for about 5 or 6 seconds then it disappeared. I felt it was observing me. Somehow it seems like the reason it looked like it disappeared is in fact because I could no longer see it (but it was still there) if you know what I mean. It was very solid and I did see it though I have no doubt about that.

One summer night in 1999 I saw a brilliant blue light in the sky. I am a sky watcher and was just gazing when all of a sudden out of nowhere this blue light appears. It came on then went off and came on again a few different times and then disappeared. It all lasted a few seconds. About half an hour later it came on again just once and then disappeared for good. In about 2003 I saw that same blue light this time in another city about two hours away from the first sighting. I was on a balcony about 9 floors up when all of a sudden this blue light comes flying out from the side of the building and around the other side of another building. It happened so fast by the time I said what was that the ppl I was with turned to look but it was already behind the other building. They just shrugged it off but I would love to know what it is. I have seen it twice and have a funny feeling I will see it again!

I was about 7 years old and out playing in the woods on the side of our house in Virginia. It was around 1975. We had a small tree house there that I was in. I noticed a small, blue iridescent sphere about 1/4in in diameter slowly floating through the woods. It's path was like a butterfly, moving in random directions. It approached me and I reached out to grab it with my thumb and index finger. I went into a minor convulsion as if I was being shocked. My vision blurred and my hearing went to a buzz. I quickly let go and it just meandered its way through the woods as i!f nothing had happened. I played a few more minutes up in the tree house and pretended that I wasn't scared. But then the fright got the best of me and I ran into the house. I stayed away from the treehouse after that.

This past spring on top of a high rise in a very populated city in the US 2 other friends and I were talking and a silvery balloon like object came over the horizon. As it floated closer to us it turned into a translucent pinkish color. At first the shape was of a balloon then turned into an orb completely round. It floated over our heads and to the west. I watched it the whole way until I could see it no more. My friend who initially commented on the object completely denied seeing it after it disappeared.

I was lying in bed one night. 3 softball sized, balls of light floated over my body. Light within light. One zapped my solar plexus, they disappeared with a popping noise. As it happened, my whole body jumped. It did not hurt or scare me. My thought, when I saw them, was diamonds.

I've seen them twice, both in my neighborhood. 1)March 1996, towards dusk. Big as a 26 in./65 cm. exercise ball. Came zooming at me and my neighbor as we walked through the woods. Glowing, electric blue and plusating. No sound. It went right through us with a silent whoosh. 2)Summer 2005, early morning hours. I opened by eyes suddenly, looking out the window hard by my bed. A small, electric blue pulsating light that looked like a little comet was zooming from my neighbor's house towards my window. The odd thing was, it seemed to be alive because it quivered when I opened my eyes and looked right at it. It knew I saw it. It changed its obvious intended course and zoomed away at right angles.
I googled "blue light UFOs" because these two instances have always stayed with me, and I wondered if anyone else had ever seen anything like this. I am so relieved to find I have company!

the same thing happened to myself and a friend some 30 years ago whilst sitting in our lounge...a small silver orb of extreme brilliance just appeared on the top of the right arm of our armchair and slowly descended over the curvature of the arm but not actually touching the surface...it went all the way down the arm onto the carpet and just vanished...it was very slow and the size of a golfball...no noise, no damage, no trail...scary...

It was the summer of 1970. I had settled into bed when out of the corner of my eye I saw a green shimmering light in the form of a rectangle in my closet. I shot up into a sitting position and turned my head to the left and right to see if it was something in front of eyes but it only appeared in the closet. I looked at it for some time and then concluded that there must be a dress hanging sideways and some light coming from outside was creeping through the small space between the shade and the window sill and shining on it. I then pulled up the covers and went right to sleep! The next morning I found that there was no dress hanging sideways and I had to sleep in the living room for the next couple of weeks.

I myself have experienced several visitations my first as a child in the 70s. my most recent been 8 months ago where myself and a work colleague watched a distant orb on a bright summers day tracking a fighter jet passing over the city of leeds . Another 2 orbs appeared and one suddenly sped down towards us and hovered above no more than 5 meters. It then changed shape became larger into a craft although remaining small. It was silver totally smooth with what appeared to be a window. it hovered above for several minutes and then vanished in a split second.

I work for a company that installs infra-red illuminating video cameras around public buildings. About a year ago a very small ball of light appeared in several different cameras moving in seemingly random directions. But when I analyzed the footage, I noticed that it sometimes followed the exact same path as the day before. Now I find out that this 'object' has been spotted by somebody inside the building when the lights were off. Nobody has a clue to what it is, but all the evidence I have so far indicates it is very real.

My husband Sean occasionally sees a little floating blue ball of light. Once he was in a cafeteria with his workmates, sitting at a table and all of a sudden the blue light shows up, and the guy across from him almost falls out of his chair and exclaims "did you see that?" My husband, not wanting to explain his many sightings of this "entity" said "see what?"

How about this? Whilst snapping photos of my living room around 7AM, I saw nothing unusual. But when I looked at the photo, there was a thing, like a black hockey puck, a piece of hardware of some sort, up around the ceiling. I enlarged the section, and it proved to be a silver disk, very clearly hardware, with a black bottom, and strange protuberances around the bottom silver rim.

Sunday night, approx. 7.40pm, January 30, 2005. I regularly go out to the back garden and observe the night sky. I am keen on astronomy. However, this was no ordinary night. When I was looking up at the stars I heard a sound, coming from my right, from the east. It was like wings beating - but, I thought, the bird must be very large to make such a sound. It was a double whoosh whoosh sound, and as I stood there listening, the sound increased in volume continually. Then suddenly, from the bottom right of the garden, a blue light floated across the width of the garden and disappeared through the bushes at the bottom left of the garden. The blue light (best described as royal blue) and the sound were moving together. It was difficult to make out if the light was coming from a disc or if it was a sphere. I reckon it was about 3-4 inches in diameter. I was watching from about 15-16 yards away. There was no discernible form supporting the light, in spite of the, now, very loud whoosh whoosh sound. I know it was not, and could not have been, a bird, because the light emerged from the right at a height of 5-6 feet above the ground, travelled almost hesitatingly across the garden and disappeared through the bushes. A bird would have travelled much faster. It must also have passed through the bushes on the right hand side to enter the garden. It may have been a form of ball lightning, but the weather was quite benign on Sunday night, with just a cool breeze blowing. It was very strange indeed.

I've never seen a blue light, but I've seen a black triangle floating above my bed once. I screamed and it floated away.

My friend and I were chased by a ball of light - about the size of a football - while we walked down a country lane, at night, in southern England when I was a girl in the seventies. It followed us for a couple of hundred yards, slowing when we slowed and speeding up the same. It left us and returned several times and we were petrified by it. It eventually left us and sped off when we got into a more inhabited area. It did us no harm but I have no doubt that it was following us and had some form of intelligence. I have always wondered what on earth it was!

About 15 years ago, I awoke in the night to see a small blue light sitting on my left foot, which was out of the bed covers. I pulled my foot under the covers. I was terrified and pulled the covers over my head. I peeked out and the light was on top of the door casing across the hallway. I yelled and woke my husband who said it was just a dream. I finally got up to go into the bathroom and the light was in another bedroom across from the bathroom. I yelled again and my husband searched the house. No little blue light, and I haven't seen it since.
