My wife and I were walking our two dogs around the Seaview Caravan Park, near Talacre. The weather had cleared during the evening and the views out to sea were very clear. We were watching a bird of prey hovering as if looking for food, when my wife suddenly pointed out something strange in the sky.
This object was heading in a direction of NW to SE, heading from the sea inland. It was difficult to judge the size of the object, it was completely silent and I would say that it was moving at a speed of a small plane, or helicopter. As the object got closer, travelling at what appeared to be a constant altitude, I thought it was something like a fighter jet spinning out of control.
I soon dismissed this as the object wasn't falling, it continued along a constant path. The reason I thought it may have been a free falling fighter jet was because it appeared dark metallic in colour and had what appeared to be metal panels. The object appeared to be spinning inside what I would describe as an energy field, or heat haze.
My wife and I both adjusted our vision on a couple of occasions as we were staring into a blue sky, but the heat haze or energy field around this object remained in place. The object continued inland, travelling at a constant speed. We have used the caravan site at Seaview since October 2004, we have seen the North Wales Police Helicopter on numerous occasions and have seen numerous low level passenger jets on the flight path to Manchester and Liverpool Airports.
Whilst I have no idea what this object was on Sunday June 12 2005 at 9.40pm, I am 100 per cent certain that it wasn't a plane, helicopter or a balloon. When I got home on Monday, I typed 'UFO sightings North Wales Sunday 12th June 2005' into google.co.uk and this website was found. Having thought about this now for a couple of days, I have to say that the object my wife and I saw wasn't anything man-made.
