The flying jelly mould!

Witness drawing of the UFO jelly mould

Last updated: 21 January 2009

UFOs come in all shapes and sizes - but have you ever heard of a flying jelly mould?

Perhaps that's why the farmers wife who saw this craft in a copse near her home in Ruthin, Vale of Clwyd, left it a year before passing on her account to the Welsh Federation of Independent Ufologists.

The woman, who prefers not to be named, was preparing food in the kitchen of her home when something attracted her attention through the window.

So much so that she went out into the garden and into the wooded area at the back of her home.

Several yards inside the wood she saw an object which resembled the silver shape of an old fashioned jelly mould sitting on the ground.

Whilst it initially looked inanimate - its body glinted in the sun on this September morning in 1992 - the ridges looked different than the rest of the vessel and above it were rotating oval balls of silver.

The woman was fixed to the spot for several minutes before remembering that she had a camera close at hand inside her house. When she rushed back towards her earlier vantage point she watched as the object hovered above the ground and appeared to fly away before her eyes. The woman was unable to estimate the object's size other than to say it was small.

What kills me is this whole idea that a woman can say she's seen an alien space craft when what she has seen is an object appearing to be a jelly mould that flies. She has no proof other than imaginative BS to say that it was A: From outerspace B: an Alien C: that it was even matter at all. Even if there were a photo, that doesn't prove it was even matter. I look at the sky and I see a rainbow, I don't run at it and think huh...it must be an alien. We don't even fully understand tornadoes yet.

I agree with John from Chester July 9th '08. It would make perfect sense for an intelligent race visiting this planet to travel via a big daddyship (don't like calling them motherships as I think male aliens make better pilots! joke) then send little scouts to survey the area and collect data, smaller craft are less obvious and less likely to be spotted, let's face it they don't want to make contact just yet, I mean, who would? Anyone with half a brain can see that humans are not nice to each other, so why would we be nice to ALF or E.T.? This is why UFOs remain elusive simply because all we would do is dissect them and steal their technology for fear of being relegated down the food/brain chain.

You have to be incredibly unimaginative to dismiss a genuine person's sighting of a small UFO as "ridiculous." Larger ships are often sighted with smaller "pilot" craft, which appear to act as probes or scouts for the mothership.Regarding the regular reports of morphing of one or more craft in to one, we're talking about the sub-atomic manipulation of matter - which is way beyond anything our scientists could reproduce. The unknown is clearly frightening to many sceptics, but they shouldn't have long to wait now.

Yes, as Craig has stated, Bob Lazar did mention the jelly mold craft, amongst others. It's difficult to tell if his story is completely credible though, but it could be. The exotic propulsion technologies being experimented with today can likely handle any shape. But in recent years mile-long, silent-running triangles seem to be the most witnessed.

I also recall Bob Lazar saying one of the "nine saucers" supposedly being held at Area 51 was in the shape of what resembled a jelly mold.

I can't believe how people believe in aliens! You can't say if you believe it or not, because it's meant 2 be a fact, NOT opinion!

Dont be ridiculous you wouldn`t fit many aliens in a jelly mould, not unless they were micro-organisms.

When I first read this story it seemed utterly ridiculous but I have seen a photo of a UFO that looks just like a jelly mould on this site: http://www.rense.com/general29/astn.htm
