The women were spending the weekend together at the house owned by one of them in the rural Glan Conwy Valley. On one summer's evening in 1983 the pair were outside chatting when, suddenly, the sky lit up in the shape of an 'H' over the adjacent field.

One of the women asked if there was an electricity pylon in the next field which could have caused the scene. As the other woman answered "no, not in the vicinity", the object began to literally throw out numerous amber-coloured balls of light in all directions. Then, it stopped and the 'H'-shaped light just seemed to fold in on itself and vanish. They were absolutely speechless.

The next morning they combed the fields all around them to see if they could find any clues for this strange apparition. They found nothing.

This report has been placed alonside the many I received for December 1985 to December 1986 as there was an intense UFO flap around the Clwydian Range, Prestatyn, Meliden and Dyserth.
