UFO photo

Has Simon King from Kinmel Bay caught a UFO on film whilst testing out his new digital camera?
Since the acquisition of a digital camera I have been intrigued by the way objects not apparently visible at the time show up on the picture. Having a scientific background I have to play the sceptic and try to find rational explanations.
However an open mind is always there and is backed up by a growing collection of oddities including 'orbs' and a peculiar eye-like entity which seems to haunt the back garden at night.
Sunday January 23 2005, I was trying out the camera on maximum optical/digital zoom which is about 12X. It was taken on Kinmel Bay (west of Rhyl) prom quite near the car park and the Asda store not being far away. At first I noticed the white blobs on the left. Seagulls?
Well I've always found even at a distance some sort of a birdlike shape is there and it seems a bit of a coincidence that this does not happen with any of this group. Is the object above the roof of the shelter the North Wales Police helicopter? It is loud even at a distance but we were not aware of it.

To assume we are the only intelligent life would be arrogant.

Me & my girlfriend witnessed the same lay out as the 3 shapes in a triangle formation hovering over South Derbyshire, but at night as they glowed an orange light. My father also told me that when he was younger he and several people on a bus going into Derby city centre witnessed 3 objects in a triangle formation just hovering in the air early in the morning this time it was daylight.

I think it's just a little narrow minded to not believe in other life beyond our small planet. I have had some pretty crazy experiences in my life thus far that leads me to believe otherwise. I remember one time my boyfriend and I ran out of gas while driving home. It was conveniently 2mi. away from the nearest gas station that was open that late. Since it was 3am everything was closed. So we took a neighbourhood shortcut (which was fairly long...) and while we were walking we were star gazing this crazy green streak shot vertical in the sky above our heads and disappeared like a shooting star would. Only it was neon green and wider. We sort of figured that was just a lucky sighting for us 2 that nobody else would believe. So I don't really expect anybody to. Just like I don't really believe this photo...but who knows? And why is it always when ppl are "trying out" their new camera they seem to catch these photos? Oh and my condolences to Zane and Lisa, your story's very tragic. And to Lee won Kim, it seems your destiny was very short lived...

I think that's a glowing bulb inside the shade and it is attached to the roof.

Dear sir, the problem with UFO pictures is quite easy in fact; perception...so many people have so many different cameras going in so many directions...it gets dizzy.
A simple test would be interesting. For instance, take a few people with each a different camera, different film exposure and regroup them to photograph...let's say
the moonlight. 1,2,3 go: a snapshot of the moon. I beleive
that after putting all the picture results
side-by-side you'll realise that you have many different "interpretations" of the moon. A bit like interviewing various people about an event they saw, each of them have their own story of the same thing but slightly different. It's like taking a picture of a sunset...
it never looks like what you observed, it is because the camera isn't the human eye...there are limitations like a dog who can hear sounds we can't...perception.
