The woman motorist had been in the town of Mold, Flintshire, when her eyes were attracted to the night's sky. Above her she saw an array of white lights "falling" from the sky, too many to count, which she watched for several minutes, unsure as to what they could be.
Later, whilst en route home to Holywell 15 miles away, the carer was so taken by what they saw next in the sky that she immediately pulled over on Pen-y-Maes Road in the town in the early hours of the morning.
The witness, whose account is taken with permission from the files of the Welsh Federation of Independent Ufologists, says she saw two separate white lights high in the sky and in the distance.
She watched as the objects moved towards her direction and apparently merged into a single big sphere of light. Compiled by a researcher, her witness account form reads: "This then moved sideways very slowly and, as it did, red, white and blue lights appeared just under this large ball of light, but not touching it.
"Then the large ball of white disappeared whilst the smaller red, white and blue semi circles of light flew in unison up into the sky. During the entire sighting in Holywell the witness said everything seemed to be still, and whole performance appeared in slow motion."

I agree with Flanger. What you probably saw was an Easyjet plane heading for John Lennon Airport.

Debunking all cases is for most people the natural response - but checking the plane routes and ruling out the standard aviation would be where I would start.

I have the blue, red and white lights captured on photo. I was so relieved to read that but I also have 2 very clear close up photographs which I hadn't noticed til next day 'cos as you take photos it stores them and goes straight back to shoot mode. One is a clear weird shaped UFO it looks like an old metal like bench but it's next to the moon so you can see clearly it's not a fake, also of what I call my lil man lol...'cos it's something that's looking into my camera! It sounds mad I know, I'd think so too but it's true...how can I get them looked at by someone who isn't gonna fob me off...anyone!

Easyjet produce some very odd looking lights at night time as they fly in to Liverpool Airport, cold or wet weather, over and around Holywell.

Last week I saw a ball of very bright light higher than any plane I've noticed. I did a search and around the same time someone in the US saw a similar object.

Talk about taking the 'micky', micky. Does the red neon square and bright yellow m also happen to have a smell of burgers and fries to it as well? If it's the same thing, I've seen it many times and always get drawn to the thing they call the mcdrive thru.

My mum has always said I'm good at spotting things and I'd make a brill UFO spotter. Those lights up there on that A55 I've seen many times. Strange things always draw me in, as I get closer I can make out a red neon square with a bright glowing yellow M.

On the first Tuesday of this year (2006), I was a passenger in a car travelling towards Wigan on the motorway when I saw 3 flashing lights (red, white & blue). It was about 6pm and very dark. I kept an eye on the lights because they stood out so much from everything else in the night sky. When the car I was in was just underneath the lights the shape of a (I think it's called?) Stealth bomber could be seen very slightly. I managed to take a photo of the thing(??) with my camera and also caught it on my camera phone too. Both the photos are virtually identical to each other. You can clearly see the shape of the craft but the lights are showing up on both as being golden colour rather than the colours seen. It was perfectly still although in a totally different place when I saw it the second time about 3 hours later. I still have the photographs of this thing I saw in the night sky.. could it have been a similar sighting to what others have reported on here?
PS I was with 2 other people at the time and they both saw this thing, so I was not imagining things or drunk, in case you are thinking on those lines.
