Picture the scene: You're going about your work on a hot cloudless summer's day glad to have the sun on your back. Then, all of a sudden, you are struck by the desire to look up as you feel something catch your eye.
One witness who recounted his story to UFO investigators says he was met by the sight of the glass cockpit of a UFO above Prestatyn. More amazing was his claim that he could see the pilot's seat and the shape of what looked like a man standing behind the pilot's chair.
The workman, who was working alone in Meliden Road, Prestatyn, in the late 80s, said the vessel had no wings and its bodywork was white but its cockpit resembled glass. At the rear end of the craft appeared to be a spoiler which resembled that of a grand prix racing car.
"The craft moved very slowly," said the man on his UFO Sighting Account Form which he filled in for the Welsh Federation of Independent Ufologists. The man was distracted and when he looked again the UFO had disappeared.

Are there any other ex-service men out there that have seen UFOs around Salisbury Plain in the 80s?

I have been telling this exact story to my wife and kids for years. I saw it close up on a clear day from a military ship off Cuba. I saw the pilot, the frame inside the glass and it was silent. It also disappeared in the blink of an eye. Myself and another sailor witnessed this.

I can shed light on this and put the encounter to bed for everyone...the sighting was real...it was Michael Schumacher testing for Ferrari, the spoiler gave it away, after all when he's behind the wheel he flies doesn't he. There, another mystery solved.

I have been searching for photos of UFO interiors, especially of the cockpit & control mechanisms for years, but it seems there are none. Hasn't anyone ever been inside a UFO? If so, surely they would have taken pictures or drawn some pictures from memory(?). I would be pleased to see even a drawing.
