Saw the lights tonight over the Kinnerton area, was just arriving home in Buckley about 1.30 hrs ago (about 20.15 4th April 2009), saw the lights straight ahead driving down Jubilee Road to the east. I followed the lights to the Penyffordd/Broughton road, it seemed to be hovering over the Kinnerton area and looked pretty big, then it turned towards Broughton, as I followed it, it dropped low over airbus and disappered off towards Chester. From the rear it looked just like 3 bright nav lights, and could see the red beacon light/s flash so reckon it's no UFO, but from the front it was just really bright, must have had some major lamps on it, but they were shining horizontally not down at the ground like a search light would, hope this helps.

About 10 years ago I was travelling to work at 4am towards Chester on the A55 with my nephew about half way down before Dobshill turnoff. We both saw what looked like a white triangle pyramid-shape in the field on the right hand side, the triangle had white flames inside it.

I've seen with my widgets from your webcam over the streets 6-7 "flying tubes", color sort of metal grey. they were there over the street (two of them were slightly out of focus; others were perfectly stilled) and beyond the sky. the next refresh of the webcam they were gone. I'm writing from italy. Here's now is 12:57 of tuesday 8 may 2007. Sorry I couldn't grab the image.

The reason for the large amount of sightings in the Dobshill area is aeroplane flight paths. Planes follow a direct route in-line with the main Dobshill road. Lights appear to be hovering when in fact they are traveling towards up at a rate of 500 MPH. The aeroplane headlights are so bright you can see them miles away!

Some of the photos sent in look like clouds. I haven't seen anything to convince me of a real sighting. There's more chance of Elvis popping up. I do believe that there are others scattered around the universe. Maybe someday someone will catch sight of a real craft until then I'll just have to wait.

I live very close to the a55 and it has being known to be one of the most weirdest places in wales! in our back garden we have a telescope looking into the stars! it faces in the saturn way! and we now record what we see every night and we see little red lights floating above the road -the web cam may have spotted it or not! and it is not a plane or helicopter! weird but also fun!

I was looking at the stars one night when i couldnt sleep, and(my bedroom window faces south east) i saw what looked like a star, moving up and down stopping then moving again side to side. Each night when i am awake i look out and it is always there, in the same direction. It is very tiny like a star, but more red than white. It moves in various different directions, i have looked through binoculars but cant see any better. It is not an aeroplane, it moves slower, then much quicker than a plane, and stays still for minutes, sometimes. Please what is it!

I took a couple of grabs from this web site at around 3.00am and there are clearly some strange lights in the sky, but they are not putting them on this site, "nothing interesting" is what they are telling me. I think they are more interesting than rain drops on the camera. If you want to see them contact me and i will send you a copy. Let me know what you think.

My point of view is that with the webcam only being updated every 10 minutes, it gives plenty of time between frames for hoaxers. In which case I wouldn't believe anything I saw on here!

Hello, I just came on & the cam was black, but when it refreshed, there is a bright round shaped object in the sky! It's white on top with different colors on the bottom, to be honest, it kind of looks like a king's crown? Weird but bright.

my sighting was a few years back in llangatock crickhowell, powys. i saw a daylight metallic saucer shaped craft flying at an diagonal angle, dont know if this way of flying is commonplace?

I have seen two.One over Nercwys in spring 1991 with three friends.Round with revolving lights,blue and white.The other over Wrecsam summer of 2005,plain as day.I have worked in the aviation industry for 25 yrs and know what I saw.Second one was still but ever so bright.

Maybe this is just a wild stab in the dark, but surely some of the 'strange' lights in the sky seen near Dobshill are something to do with the nearby Hawarden airport!
I'm not a sceptic, I believe in UFO's and one night in the early 1980's I saw a strange, bright white light travelling very fast high in the sky. I first thought that it was a shooting star or a satelite until it performed several 90 degree turns and then shot away out of sight!!

A few strange things in the sky I've seen especially in my younger days fishing on trawlers off the Great Ormes head, weird shaped things in the sky, but these could be anything until myself and a friend experienced something very different at the age of 16 in Butlins, Pwllheli. It was night time and I can only describe it as a shooting star that pinged in the sky like a frisby, it was low travelling at speed and narrowly missed the boomerang roller coaster, it made a whipping sound as it swerved past the roller coaster. I've always thought that this was something different than a shooting star because it swerved and dodged. Also I say it was like a shooting star because it glowed like a white fire, but then again I've never seen a shooting star about 50 feet off the ground maybe lower and then go from left to right and then disapear into the sky, hahahah crazy but true always wondered wot the hell that was?

I saw a UFO in the mid 70s over Penyffordd. It was a black triangle with a red glow at each corner. I was in a car at the time so I couldn't tell size or distance. I watched it for about two minutes. It kept pace with the car but when we turned onto the Vounog Hill I lost sight of it.

I saw something a few months ago, (July/August) when we were going down the A55. It was as we past the border. There were 4 flashes of light in the sky, they were HUGE too, very near each other. They were like a pinky/orangy/red clour. I'm not very good at describing it! Sorry!
I was just browsing the web when I came across this! Can't belive others have seen stuff too in the area!
Also, isn't Todmorden, West Yorkshire suppose to be a big spot for seeing UFO's?

The aliens are here, they hovered silently above me in Nov '77. Then zigzagged, then flew away at 1000s of mph. It was reported in Flintshire leader, but I didn't tell anyone at the time.

I made a sighting here in Broughton last night and have been looking around the Net to see if I could find anything similar as I am struggling to explain what I saw, anyway here is a mail I sent to a friend shortly after the seeing the object. 11.37PM: A red and orange 'ball of light/fire' has just whizzed down the road outside the front of the house, I'd say level with the rooftops travelling horizontally very quickly and I'd estimate about the size of a tennis ball! Can't say more than that. I have absolutely no idea what it was! I would have thought a meteorite but it was completely level. I can now proudly say I've seen a UFO! UNREAL!

I see the site has reports and sightings from around my home town of Bridlington. I also saw a blue light high above the north bay in November of last year. It just sat in the sky with the stars. The only difference was it was blue and bigger than a star. Not sure if you will print this but here is a site i found with other reports from around east yorkshire www.ILF-UFO.co.uk - It's quite surprising how many people report odd things in the sky around Bridlington - must be the sea air.
