Clwydian Range sighting

Clwydian Range

Last updated: 21 April 2008

Two friends from Denbigh appeal for witnesses after sighting a series of UFOs over the Clwydian Range.

On the morning of Sunday July 2 2006 at 12.10am, myself and a friend both spotted what first appeared to be a bright red light hovering over the Clwydian Range, quite close and to the right of the famous radio tower. As we ventured forward into his garden we winessed another five lights of the same colour appear sequentially from left to right, all with smaller flashing lights just above them. This continued for approximatley three minuites when all of the lights dimmed in the reverse order of how they appeared. We were both stunned by this as the lights were all spaced out exactly the same distance between each other, just above the Clwydian horizon.

As we both commented and prepared to walk back into the house the whole event started again, this time going from right to left, again with the smaller flashing lights above them, this again went on for the same amount of time and disappeared.

Both myself and my friend know the area very well and the lights were not adjoined to any of the roads, they were in fact hovering above the Clwydian Range. We have absolutely no explanation for this and are both convinced there are other witnesses.

A friend and I were mtb riding up the main path to Moel Famau when we saw a similiar display to the one you describe, this was in the winter though a year previous to your sighting. We initially thought someone had lit a large bonfire next to the castle, but as we rode further on we could see more clearly and the object was hovering about 200 feet to the right of the castle. This lasted for about 15 minutes then the object shot into the sky at phenomenol speed and disappeared from sight within about two seconds.

What I've seen, not far from the mast, is where my wife and I witnessed, a very similar event. Since that night and many other nights for nearly a year, we have witnessed strange craft, with lighting arrangements that seem to defy or misguide. Craft that run silently seems like maybe 'lifter' technology is being used. I'd also say that what we are witnessing is 21st military aircraft. What upsets me, why do we fight and war over oil when the very people who tell us it's the only energy available, what are they powering their new toys with?

Strangely enough, earlier that night (Sat 01-07-06 @ 10.20pm) I noticed a light in the sky coming relatively slowly from the direction of Corwen down the Dee Valley towards the village of Carrog. At first due to the speed and height I believed it to be a helicopter with its searchlights on, but as it got closer I realised that the object was not producing any sound whatsoever. At this time I called my wife to see what she thought of it. As we watched, the light seemed to stop and hover for a period of approx 1 min, it then moved from side to side several times before it went skywards until it looked like a small star. After a while I continued watering the garden and my wife called to tell me that it had disappeared. She then went indoors where she continued watching through the window. Several minutes later she called to say it has re-appeared and as I came around the corner of the house I saw the original light had returned looking like a star in the night sky. Then, to my amazement as we watched the star-like light in the sky, a second light proceeded down the Dee Valley, from Corwen in an identical fashion to the light we had seen 15 mins earlier. This second light continued towards Carrog then as before moved side to side before heading skywards and settled close to the original light so that there were now two, star-like objects in the night sky. We watched until again, they both disappeared.
