I was getting ready to go to bed one night when I was 13 and I had been watching Most Haunted. As I drifted off to sleep my television spontaneously turned on, as you would be I was petrified. After I ran into my dad's bedroom whilst screaming he came in and my little brother's television had turned on as well. My dad was very confused. We turned off the tellies and tried to go back to sleep. It was about 45 minutes after the telly incident when I heard a noise coming from the downstairs lounge, it was my dad's old record player playing a Blues Brother album but when we went down there, there was no record in the player but we did have the feeling that there was somebody in the house as well. A few days had passed, nothing happened but one morning when my dad was reading his paper he noticed an article saying that there were strange disturbances from people who are claiming that their deceased relatives had came back fom the dead to visit them.

Did any one watch that ghost hunting with Paul O'Grady? Because in the very last location they went to I'm sure I saw a little blond girl standing by the table when they were doing a seance in that place where the bodies hang on the walls. She was about 2 or 3 years old!

I keep decorating my room with wallpaper and every time it is done red marks appear in the joins of the wallpaper. Once it's removed they go away. I've had the walls skimmed, painted, PVA sealed and lining paper on all at the same time and when I look again the same thing has happened.

I was 2 when I first saw a ghost, my grandad. My mum told me after he had died I was playing upstairs, came down stairs to my mum and told her I had just said goodbye to grandad. I have seen many things and believe to be quite susceptible to these things. I read your story and it made me cold. Maybe it was something more than just dead squirrels. What killed them?

If you do live just down the road from Cornist Hall I'm not suprised about a ghost in your house because when Cornist Hall was a house the land reached all the way down to Old London Road just across from the cottage hospital.

I see a ghost in France in my bedroom. It is a lady and it always looks angry when it sees me.It is possibly my great grandmother.Nearly everyone I know (including friends) are always very excited when I speak about it. I don't know why. Please read my comment. I first saw the ghost in August 2005 when I was about 10 so again please read my comment!

If I ever see something on my walls I would run to my mum and dad's room and tell them. We have been in this house for about 7 years and I hate it. When I go to bed I hate looking at my door because I keep thinking someone that I don't know is gonna walk in! SCARY!

Maybe somebody was trying to help you out. If you hadn't seen the arrow then you wouldn't have found the dead squirels and they would have really stunk the place out. I think you were lucky. :)

My girlfriend says she gets writings on the wall in her bedroom from God. He has given her many hours of "test". She also has angels and poltergeist visiting her. She talks to them all the time and they are running her life. She also has a spirit man who comes and stays in her bed. I don't know what to think of it all. Is she just getting old or is there something to this?

I've encounter hundreds of paranormal stuff with friends around me to prove it. If this is the first time a strange thing has happened to you I don't expect you to be calm about it but don't let it haunt you forever. If it's something consant I'm afraid you might have a problem but I wouldn't consider moving unless it is something serious or even harmful.

I've lived in this house for about 6 or 7 years and I always knew that there was something weird about it. I always could feel a sort of presence. I mean the house is about 65 years old and one night my brother was watching TV in the living room and he turned it off to go to bed, and all of a sudden he heard 'Can you hear me?' right in his ear and something pulled his hair. He ran into my room. Well, it's been a year and a half since that happened and about a week ago I was lying in my bed, all of a sudden I heard 'Damn it, damn it, can you hear me?' right in my ear. I turned around and felt goose bumps all over and I turned on the light and I saw a black diamond right at the edge of my bed - then it went away.

Once me and my brother were on our own in the house and I turned on the bathroom light and it went pitch black. I found my way back to my room and I could have sworn I heard a scream and lots of motorbikes. The lights came back on when my parents came in the house.

I know it sounds freaky but my granadad died about 6 years ago. I walked in to my town with my m8s and in the park where my grandad would go to feed the pigeons I saw a man. He looked like my grandad, he was wearing the same green coat that my grandad had and he had Nike trainers just like my grandads! The funny thing is I thought he was my grandad and said hello to him. My mates thought I was mucking around but I was dead serious.

Every night just before I go to sleep I look at the cupboard beside me and a white thing appears with a face and it looks like a hand is comming to me so I turn around. I think that I am imaging it but last night two faces came and it happens every night. I am so scared of going to bed.

Once when I was walking back home from school (in the street I live in you can hardly see anyone walking around), I saw a lot "people" walking around me. They are all white, blank face and I can see through them. After three seconds, they all disappeared.

When I was young I used to see a dark shape pass by my door. It was about 6ft and was definitley a man. It walked into the toilet that was next to my bedroom, so one night I got up and went to the toilet thinking it was my mum's friend. When I opened the door there was noone there. After a while he started to stand at the door and then a few days after that I saw an owl on my wall. The man never came back after that and I know now the owl was my guardian angel.

i am doin a hmk project on ghosts and am findin it spooky i feel like som1 iz watchin mi and ma chair keeps creekin put music on 2 block it out but i still feel some1 iz watchin mi. wen i woz young i woz scared off dogs i went into ma hall and stared screaming saying i'd seen a dog ma mum came and nothin woz there l8r wen ma mum woz talkin to the next door neighbour she said a dog used to live there and they took it on holiday and it ran off the cliff and died. i dont remember this but ma mum has told mi. it is totally true.

OMG that sounds horrid. I've never seen a ghost but I've heard strange noises round the house and I don't like being alone at night. But the other week I was looking at some photos at my nan's house when half the pics had orb like lights in the background above and around my family. At first we thought it was something to do with the camera but when we looked at other pics with same camera there were no orbs. Maybe it was the light we will never know. I think it could be my grandad who died before I was born. It was kinda spooky though as my nan has lived in that house for years and it creaks all the time.

Further to my story with the arrow...previously to the fire, (please read above) we received a present of more than 300 (we counted them) wasps in the bath, around the bath, in the toilet and in my daughter's bedroom - which were all comatosed and ready for death! I have since contacted a spiritualist and they have informed me that the spirit who lives(!) in the house has brought them there as a gift (or not). Apparently spirits who like to bring you dead nice things like butterflies but if they don't like you, they bring dead wasps, etc! We are very scared and we are seriously thinking of bringing a medium or someone else who can "cleanse" the house before we actually go back there (the fire has gutted the place and we are at the moment living in temporary accommodation until the house is being rebuilt)! You lot who have seen or heard a ghost are very lucky, I'd love to have this happen to me. My mate and I go to a few ghost walks now and then and nothing happens and so we leave very disappointed. Is there anyone who knows of somewhere where my mate and I can stay overnight on a ghost mission in Gwent as we can't find anything out...happy hunting xxx

wow that must have been scary for you, especially at that age, I can understand what you're going through, but there's no need to be afraid they mean no harm, by drawing that arrow they were just trying to tell you something. I know this coz I've had a lot of experiences with the supernatural which all kicked off when I was round about 6 years old and now I'm 14.

I used to work in Pontins in Prestatyn and one normal working night I was cleaning upstairs in the toilets next to the snooker room. Everything was fine except I had an uneasy feeling, thought I was being stupid and carried on. When I was finished I continued downstairs when out of the blue a laughing voice shouted to me that I had forgotten my radio. In a panic I looked for my radio but could not find it so I ran upstairs only to find my radio on the ledge of the toilet window. Out of fear I ran down the stairs to be mocked by the voice telling me how stupid I was. Finally a work colleague found me and asked if I was OK as I looked like I'd seen a ghost. I told her what had happened and she told me it was haunted by an evil ghost and it had been seen several times. It is thought to be linked to a murder that had taken place in the snooker room. I never have been back there since, I would like to hear if anyone else has had experiences at Pontins.

I had the same experience! I had recently re-decorated our bedroom and one night whilst getting ready for bed there was a drawing of an arrow done by pencil (I think) across the bend of the wall. I was a bit flummoxed as to how it got there and was annoyed as I had only painted the wall a few weeks previously! Incidentally, we had a house fire 5 weeks ago which started in our bedroom, which was gutted, along with most of the house and we lost everything, bar the clothes we were stood in. Do you think that these events are connected? Do you think the arrow was trying to warn us? Apparently the fire was caused by the dimmer switch on the lamp, which was exactly to where this arrow was pointing. It would be very interesting to hear of something similar. Thanks!

There are ghosts like that they are called Poltergeists and they can sometimes be v. evil but some are harmless and friendly but poltergeists are type of ghosts whio like to throw things and like in your experience write on the walls some poltergeist ghosts can harm you like .e.g. scratch and may sometimes frighten you and your family but don't be scared just ask them to go away and they will leave you eventually but if this continues ask the local Psychic medium or your local priest! Plus if we go in the downstairs cupboard all the doors in the house start slamming frantically. We r movin house soon tho!

There is a type of ghost that this sounds like. You can only see it on the ground as a shadow of an arm of a hand. The ghosts will usually cause havoc by picking up and throwing any objects in the room. The other thing they do is write on the walls.

In my cousin's house there's red writings on the wall and my cousin wants to move house with her sister really badly. One of the boys in my class lives right next to this river and the packhorse bridge and he's seen a ghost lady floating in mid air - and he said that she went across the bridge then went in someone's house but he doesent know who's house it was. He said this happens at midnight. Write back and tell me if u got anything on the packhorse bridge.

I have had a similar yet different experience. It involved an animal. I was watching my neighbors house and they had two dogs. One was a Alaskan husky and the other a Golden retriever. On one of the nights I was watching TV with a friend when the Alakan husky began freaking out. When a turned around I could see a figure in the living room behind the piano. It was a white siloutte of a man. When I stood up it ducked down behind the piano. The dog and my self ran up to where the figure had been. There was nothing there, but the dog continued to bark in a half circle around where the figure had been. There have been other acounts for me in this house but never in my own. Funny thing is is that we had the option of this house, the one we bought, and the one behind us. We actually looked at my neighbors house first & I refused to have my parents buy it. Also these homes were brand new built & used to be just an open field.

This experience sounds very scary, I believe in this ghost stuff but would not wish to encounter such a terrible thing. Every night I tend to see and hear things, I do not know what these are but it really freaks me out. I think it is just my imagination gtting carried away! But this scares me very much.

I was once in my room when I heard a big great bang coming from the conservatory. I was in the house on my own at the time and so was very freaked out. I went to have a look and to my amazement saw a black figure stood in the doorway of my conservatory. This figure then disappeared after a few seconds and vanished.

we have lived in our house for about 4 years.me and my little sister beth were watching tv when she scremed i turned round instantly only to see a cat on the sofa i ran over to see it but it vanished into the sofa.beth ran out to tell mum who was gardening at the time that it happend.my mum spocke before beth and said she had found a skellington of an amimal but she wasnt sure what it was i had been doing skellingtons at school so she asked me .they were the bones of a cat.now im 13 and beth is 9 we have re beried the bones and havent seen the cat since.
