Someone's watching us!

A couple, who don't want to be identified, say they're living in fear with a ghost who refuses to leave despite a priest trying to evict the unwelcome guest - & now other contributors recount similar experiences too.
My husband and I, on several occasions, have had visits from our uninvited guest. One time we were in our morning room and he or she started to form and the atmosphere was very uncomfortable in the house. So much so that we could not stand it and had to make a call to my parents in the middle of the night to see whether we could go there.
Things have been moved; jewellery has been taken which had been there the previous day; my husband was cooking in the kitchen and the carving knife that he had just used was found on its blade with no visible means of support.
A friend was visiting and thought my husband had been upstairs, saying she said she saw a figure of a man in our bedroom. It was not my husband. My parent's dogs do not like staying in the house. Why? We do not know. I have tried to research this house and area but have come up blank.
A priest came in to talk to us and bless the house and during the blessing my husband I felt 'attacked' . Both of us were left breathless and uncomfortable. Later, the doors kept opening and closing by themselves in the night. Outside interference seems to escalate the problem.
We must be the only family who have to have a radio playing in the bathroom to take our mind off a feeling that something is watching us. Also, in the kitchen we have a radio running to take our mind off the noises coming from the back kitchen.
There is plenty more I could say but I would be here all night but as things develop I will let you know.
